Zusammenfassung

Ares is seeking a Senior Associate, Legal Vendor Strategy & Management to build the infrastructure for how the Legal department selects, manages and evaluates outside counsel and other legal service providers.

Reporting to the Head of Legal Transformation, you will lead vendor strategy, sourcing, pricing analysis, performance management and governance across the vendor portfolio, using data-informed approaches and AI tools where appropriate.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in management consulting, procurement, or legal operations.
• Strong analytical skills with vendor performance evaluation.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and structured decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides skills.
• Ability to lead vendor governance, commercial analysis, sourcing or transformation projects.
• Ability to synthesize financial and operational data into clear recommendations.
• Strong judgment and relationship management.

• Present findings to leadership.
