Job summary

Baker Donelson seeks a Legal Research Analyst to provide expert research support across legal databases and client matters. You will translate complex questions into precise answers, partner with attorneys and paralegals, and help develop firm-wide research tools and resources.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver white-glove service, and contribute to thought leadership on emerging industry issues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/MLS/JD strongly preferred.
• Extensive proficiency across major legal research databases and software.
• Ability to translate complex research into actionable guidance for attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert research and reference support to attorneys and staff.
• Own the full lifecycle of reference inquiries and document research results.
• Apply legal, legislative, and company research expertise to diverse matters.
• Produce content on industry topics and maintain current awareness newsletters.
• Build and maintain research resources and proactively reflect database changes.
