Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive legal reference and research experience.
• BA, MLS and/or JD strongly preferred; high school diploma required.
• Proficiency with major legal research databases and software programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong client service focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert research and reference support to attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative departments.
• Own the full lifecycle of reference inquiries and track completed research in the Firm's research queue.
• Apply legal, legislative, and company research expertise to resolve complex questions across practice areas.
• Produce content on industry topics and maintain current awareness newsletters and legislative tracking.
• Instruct attorneys and staff on best use of research materials and create user guides and training resources.
