Job summary

Reed Smith LLP is seeking a senior leader to manage lateral associate and law student recruiting across DC, Tysons, and Richmond offices. The role oversees campus programs, summer associates, and new associate integration, partnering with firm leadership to implement talent strategies and maintain program excellence.

Success requires deep law-firm recruiting experience, strong leadership, and the ability to guide cross-office teams while maintaining a high-touch candidate experience and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of five years of management-level recruiting experience in a law firm.
Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Direct the recruitment of lateral associates and summer programs across multiple offices.
Oversee campus recruitment, summer associate, and new associate onboarding.
Mentor and develop recruiting staff; provide feedback and guidance.
Collaborate with partners and practice groups to align recruiting with firm priorities.
Manage budgets and maintain recruitment records using ViRecruit.
