Job summary

Point72 is seeking a senior legal operations leader to build and own the department's operational backbone. You will partner with General Counsel to execute long-term strategy, manage budgets, and optimize processes across matter intake, workflow routing, and document management.

You will design data infrastructure and dashboards, lead the legal technology roadmap, and govern vendor relationships and outside counsel engagements.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in legal operations, project management, or similar role.
• Experience in law firm, asset manager, bank, or regulated financial institution.
• Hands-on experience implementing or operating a document management system.
• Proven ownership of legal processes, vendor and outside counsel management, metrics, and reporting.
• Strong PM skills to run multiple workstreams with minimal oversight.
• Excellent judgment handling confidential, privileged information.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the operational backbone for the Legal department, aligning resources with firm goals.
• Develop and manage the annual legal department budget and streamline invoices.
• Improve core legal processes: intake, triage, workflow routing, document management and onboarding.
• Design data infrastructure, reporting and dashboards for matter volumes, capacity, and spend trends.
• Lead the legal technology roadmap, including AI-enabled workflows and system integration.
