The University of Utah Health seeks a HR professional focused on leave administration and disability accommodations. You will consult with management and employees to ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and related policies, while safeguarding confidentiality.

Responsibilities include analyzing processes, coordinating with benefits, and guiding leaders on risk management and training needs in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in HR with an emphasis in employee relations or leave management.
• Experience with FMLA, FLSA, and ADA.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or Equivalency.

Responsabilités

• Consult with department leadership regarding interpretation and application of leave administration and disability accommodations.
• Strategically consult with leadership on identifying and managing potential employment risks.
• Provide guidance and coaching to all levels of management in addressing complex issues.
• Evaluate staff requests for accommodation under ADA or Section 504.
• Analyze data and evaluate effectiveness of procedures; recommend changes.
• Collaborate with management on training and development needs.
• Process employee leaves (FMLA, medical and non-medical, military, workers' comp).
• Coordinate with benefits for unpaid absences and health insurance continuation.
• Coordinate with OEO regarding ADA/504 concerns.
