Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Minimum 3 years administering FMLA, ADA accommodations, and employee relations matters.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations.
• Experience coaching leaders on performance management and disciplinary processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert for leave and accommodation programs (FMLA/ADA/state laws).
• Lead interactive process for ADA and other accommodation requests.
• Manage full lifecycle of leave requests: intake, eligibility, certifications, approvals, extensions, return-to-work, closure.
• Coordinate accommodations with compliance to regulations.
• Maintain confidential employee medical records and documentation.
• Partner with third-party leave admins and disability carriers.
• Advise leaders on performance issues and corrective action.
• Conduct workplace investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Support terminations and separations; assist with conflict resolution and difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, PWFA, USERRA, workers’ comp; update policies and generate reports.
