Job summary

National Veterinary Associates (NVA) seeks a Leave & Accommodation Specialist to join the Benefits Team. The role focuses on coordinating team member leave and accommodations within an insourced model, ensuring compliant, timely responses and cross-functional collaboration.

The specialist will manage complex cases, educate employees, and drive process improvements across multiple workstreams within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years managing leave and accommodation requests in mid to large organizations.
• Extensive experience coordinating statutory paid leave programs and their intersection with company benefits.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and disability programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for employees and managers on leave and accommodation inquiries.
• Educate employees on leave options, entitlements, and required documentation.
• Lead interactive process for ADA accommodations with healthcare providers.
• Manage high-volume, complex caseloads with timely follow-up and accurate documentation.
