Job summary

Michels Corporation in the United States is seeking a Leave Partner to join our HR team and help manage leave programs across multiple states. You will act as a trusted HR partner, administer, coordinate, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws while delivering a compassionate employee experience.

As a Leave Partner, you will collaborate with employees, managers, payroll, benefits vendors, and third-party administrators to provide accurate and timely leave support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, preference to HR, 3-5 years of progressive HR experience with significant focus on leave of absence administration
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills. Must present a professional, positive image at all times
• Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and state and local leave laws
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
• Experience in a multi-state or complex leave environment. (Desired)
