DLC is seeking a VP of Leasing in Chicago to lead a strategic leasing plan for a portfolio of properties. The role requires building relationships with tenants, brokers, and internal teams while directing Leasing Representatives and outside brokers.

The position offers a hybrid work model with a base salary in the $175k–$200k range plus bonuses, reflecting extensive experience in retail leasing and strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of leasing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of retail leasing process and LOI/Lease terminology.
• Proven track record negotiating leases with national retailers.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Ability to manage and direct Leasing Representatives and brokers.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute leasing strategy for properties in DLC's portfolio.
• Identify market trends using data to inform leasing decisions.
• Negotiate LOIs and lease terms for deals.
• Coordinate with Legal and ensure timely execution of leases.
• Oversee lease renewals and manage internal/external teams.
• Conduct property visits and market tours with brokers.
• Prepare property-level leasing budgets aligned to plans.
• Collaborate with other departments during acquisitions and tenant changes.
