Job summary

DLC is seeking a VP of Leasing in Atlanta to lead leasing strategy for a portfolio of properties and drive performance across tenant partnerships, market analysis, and deal execution.

You will oversee LOI negotiations, collaborate with legal and property management, and guide leasing teams and brokers to optimize occupancy and rental income. This role requires travel and strong leadership in a fast-paced retail real estate environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of Leasing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of retail leasing process, LOI and Lease terminology.
• Proven track record negotiating leases with national retailers.
• Understanding of the entire retail leasing process.
• Ability to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute leasing strategy for assigned properties in DLC’s portfolio.
• Identify market trends and use data to inform leasing decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with tenants, brokers, and internal teams.
• Negotiate LOIs and lease terms for deals.
• Coordinate with Legal to ensure leases are drafted and executed timely.
• Submit LPAs in CRM for each fully negotiated LOI at properties.
• Review/approve LPAs for renewal/new deals.
• Manage and direct Leasing Representatives and brokers on deals.
• Conduct quarterly property visits/market tours with brokers and reps.
• Develop and manage property-level annual leasing budgets.
• Review data and trends to optimize pricing and lease structures.
• Attend weekly property acquisition calls.
• Interview national retailers during due diligence for acquisitions.
• Participate in monthly JV partner calls to walk through pipeline.
• Coordinate monthly renewals calls to plan actions.
• Coordinate with Property Management to resolve active issues.
• Collab with internal departments during acquisition and tenant transitions.
