Job summary

Serco Inc. (Serco) is seeking a Professional Development Coach in Bremerton, WA to support leadership development and drive organizational effectiveness within Navy shipyards.

You will provide tailored coaching and training for leaders and teams, fostering growth and operational excellence across maintenance and repair operations. The role requires DoW Secret clearance, US citizenship, and a bachelor’s degree (or 10+ years with coaching certification).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Leadership/OD/Psychology/HR/Education/Business Administration or 10+ years related experience with coaching certification.
• 5 years of experience in leadership development, professional coaching, organizational development, or workforce training.
• Coaching certifications (ICF, Gallup, InsideOut Development Coaching, or equivalent) required.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to supported shipyard locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored coaching to shipyard supervisors and managers on leadership development, decision‑making, communication, and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Conduct and facilitate leadership, management, and professional development training programs.
• Track and monitor training requirements, completion status, and development plans.
• Assist in design, implementation, and continuous improvement of leadership programs and curricula.
• Guide leaders in managing workplace challenges, conflict resolution, and team development.
• Deliver training modules on leadership best practices, time management, and workforce development.
• Evaluate coaching effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and metrics.
