The Associate Director, Small Business & Corporate Education at SDSU Research Foundation provides strategic and operational leadership for the SBDC, corporate education initiatives, and related programs.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the position oversees business advising, technical assistance, education, training, referrals, program delivery, and outcome tracking while ensuring performance against contractual and funding requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of small business development, entrepreneurship, business advising, and economic development principles.
• Knowledge of SBDC, SBA, university, grant, and contractual compliance requirements.
• Ability to design, launch, manage, and improve complex programs and service models.
• Ability to provide individualized business advising and translate client needs into actionable strategies.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct, individualized business advising to SBDC clients to support formation, growth, and outcomes.
• Develop and deliver workshops, seminars, and training programs responsive to small business needs.
• Coordinate advising and training activities across consultants, campus partners, and external professionals.
• Serve as a coordinator for corporate education activities with university units to connect businesses with programs and continuing education.
• Identify opportunities to develop or expand business-facing services based on employer needs and trends.
