SDSU Research Foundation is seeking an Associate Director, Small Business & Corporate Education to lead SDSU’s SBDC and related programs. You will oversee business advising, training, contract management, and performance reporting, ensuring alignment with funder requirements and university priorities.

The role emphasizes cross-unit collaboration, partnerships, and growth opportunities to strengthen entrepreneurial pathways and regional impact in San Diego and Imperial Counties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; five years progressively responsible experience in an office/administrative environment.
• Experience in small business development or equivalent program management is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of grant management and compliance requirements.

Responsabilités

• Design, launch, maintain, and improve service models and workflows.
• Provide direct business advising and develop strategies for client outcomes.
• Lead and manage consultants and contracts within SDSU SBDC network.
• Ensure compliance with SBA, state and funding requirements and maintain audit-ready records.
• Develop partnerships and pursue new grants, contracts, and program initiatives.
• Handle other duties as assigned to support program goals.
