Job summary

The Arbor Day Foundation seeks a Senior Manager, Planting Partnerships to lead the sourcing and growth of its planting partner network for reforestation and urban forestry programs. You will guide project development, partner relationships, and cross-functional initiatives to maximize impact per dollar.

You will manage a small team, collaborate with fundraising and program leaders, and shape the strategy for scalable, high-quality opportunities within a mission-driven environment in Lincoln, NE.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in partnership development, project development, operations, supply chain or sourcing leadership, or program strategy and operations.
• Experience identifying, evaluating, and developing external partnerships and projects.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic direction, priorities, and growth objectives for the Project Development function.
• Grow and strengthen the planting partner network by identifying new opportunities and developing sourcing approaches.
• Design and implement operating models, processes, and tools to increase scalability and efficiency.
• Provide leadership to 3 Project Development Leads and develop team capabilities in partner relationship management and strategic sourcing.
• Collaborate with fundraising and program leaders to align project pipeline with funding opportunities.
