Job summary

San Diego Zoo is seeking a Senior Director of In-Park Revenue & Experiences to lead the strategic vision and performance of the Safari Park's revenue portfolio. You will collaborate across departments to optimize products, drive visitor engagement, and support conservation goals while maintaining world-class service standards.

The role requires 8-9 years of leadership in revenue-generating operations, with preference for zoo/aquarium or high-volume visitor environments.

Qualifications

• 8-9 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in revenue-generating operations, hospitality, attractions, or related guest-serving field.
• Experience managing financial performance, strategic planning, product development, and cross-functional teams.
• Senior leadership experience in a zoo, aquarium, or high-volume visitor destination preferred.
• Experience in high-volume guest-serving environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and evolution of mission-aligned programs, products, and experiences to increase visitor engagement and topline revenue.
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of Safari Experiences, including premium tours and overnight experiences.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Revenue Management, Finance, Merchandising, and other partners to align products with KPIs.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, pricing, capacity management, and portfolio evaluation using data to inform decisions.
• Set standards for cohesive, authentic visitor experiences across in-park revenue channels.
