Job summary

MAPEI USA is seeking a Business Manager for Tile & Stone Installation Systems (TSIS) to drive strategy, financial performance, and growth. You will lead Product Line Managers and an operations support professional, strengthening established products and guiding new developments.

The role requires 3+ years of senior product leadership, strong P&L expertise, and a track record of driving profitability in a chemical/manufacturing context. Competitive compensation and performance bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college; chemistry or related science preferred; MBA or advanced degree highly desired.
• Minimum of three years of commercial product leadership and at least two years of industry experience.
• Minimum of three years of direct people management experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in P&L management, financial forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and margin optimization.
• Experience in chemicals, manufacturing, or regulated industry with ability to translate developments into business strategy.
• Strong strategic planning, project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio financial performance including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps over 3–5 years, balancing legacy and new products.
• Lead and develop Product Line Managers and staff with clear goals and accountability.
• Partner with R&D to set development priorities and monitor regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal and executives to align strategy and programs.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
