Job summary
Harvard University’s John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences seeks a Senior Associate Dean for Academic Programs to provide strategic leadership across undergraduate, master's, and doctoral education, guiding curriculum development, policy, and program assessment.
The role partners with faculty and university leadership to advance interdisciplinary education and student success. The successful candidate will oversee resource stewardship, governance, and program evaluation
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading academic programs and educational strategy.
- Experience advising senior academic leaders on strategic and operational issues.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral education.
- Lead curriculum development, policy, and program assessment.
- Oversee budgeting and resource stewardship for academic programs.
- Represent SEAS on university-wide committees and cross-school initiatives.
- Foster collaboration across Harvard and external partners to advance education.
