Job summary

Jobtailor in Oregon seeks a senior program leader to coordinate statewide multilingual learner initiatives and Title III programs. The role will coach districts, monitor program implementation, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.

You will partner with districts, offices, and communities to advance culturally responsive practices and allocate resources effectively. A strong candidate will have leadership experience in education policy and program design.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field required or equivalent
• Five years of education experience in the specialty area under recruitment
• Two years of leadership experience in the specialty area under recruitment
• A Doctorate may substitute for two years of education experience, but not leadership
• Oregon Standard Administrative License may substitute for two years of leadership experience
• Knowledge of English language development and English language proficiency standards
• Experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and leading multilingual/English learner programs and services
• Experience with dual language, bilingual education, and heritage language programs
• Experience partnering with district and school leaders, educators, tribal partners, students, families, community organizations, and government agencies
• Experience analyzing data, identifying root causes, and implementing evidence-based continuous improvement strategies
• Experience administering or supporting federal education programs, including Title III
• Knowledge of federal program requirements, civil rights obligations, grant administration, and compliance monitoring
• K-12 leadership experience including curriculum and instruction, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Experience interpreting and implementing state or federal education policies
• A driver's license and reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Provide statewide leadership, coordination, and support to improve outcomes for multilingual learners
• Implement and align the English Learner Outcomes Program and Title III programs
• Deliver coaching and technical assistance to school districts and education service districts
• Support implementation of evidence-based, culturally and linguistically responsive practices
• Contribute to statewide multilingual education strategies
• Support administration of grants and contracts
• Collaborate across programs to ensure coherent systems of support and compliance
• Serve as a key contact for districts, partners, and the public
• Provide technical assistance and professional learning to educators
• Develop and disseminate guidance, tools, and resources
• Coordinate Title III and accountability and literacy efforts
• Plan and conduct monitoring activities, including onsite and virtual visits
