Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an energetic educator to lead playful learning experiences for children aged 0-8, both onsite and offsite. The role involves coordinating with teachers and family communities, translating materials for Spanish-speaking participants, and driving engagement across diverse programs.

The position emphasizes inclusive customer service, safe and welcoming environments, and collaboration with the Facilities team to maintain spaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with children ages 0-8 in formal or informal educational settings.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; strong communication and intercultural skills.
• Experience in education, arts education, museum studies, or relevant field preferred.
• Excellent customer service and ability to manage groups.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license; local travel required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates onsite and offsite school and community programs; motivates and guides playful learning; ensures learning outcomes; engages teachers and parents; collaborates with educators and group leaders.
• Activates exhibits to create memorable learning experiences for families with young children.
• Leads special drop-in onsite programs and seasonal/year-round programs (e.g., summer camps).
• Delivers programs in Spanish, including translation of materials and communication.
• Supports program administration: setup, cleanup, documentation, data collection, and scheduling.
