Job summary
MSD in Rahway, NJ, seeks a Senior Director, Clinical Science, Breast Oncology to provide strategic leadership across studies and assets. You will shape disease-area strategy, enable consistent scientific standards, and guide development through expert interpretation of oncology data.
You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor scientists, and participate in governance discussions to align portfolio efforts with scientific and regulatory expectations.
Qualifications
- Advanced scientific or healthcare degree; 8+ years in pharma/clinical development preferred.
- Master’s degree in life sciences with 12+ years in pharmaceutical/medical field experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years in pharmaceutical development experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic Clinical Science leadership across multiple studies and assets.
- Standardize Clinical Science approaches and maintain quality and consistency.
- Guide protocol development, study design considerations, and endpoint selection.
- Contribute to governance discussions and senior leadership communications.
- Mentor and develop Directors, Principal Scientists, and Clinical Scientists.
- Collaborate across functions to align scientific approaches and portfolio execution.
