The Manager, Logistics & Transportation leads strategic management of the small parcel and courier network, partnering with Procurement, Finance, and Operations to standardize, optimize, and report on transportation spend.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, vendor management, and governance to improve cost efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, small parcel, courier management, last-mile delivery, or related field.
• Experience managing small parcel and/or courier providers.
• Experience analyzing transportation spend, package volumes, courier rates, and service performance.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate large datasets into insights.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting/BI tools.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders across operations, finance, procurement and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of national, regional, and local small parcel and courier providers.
• Serve as SME for small parcel, courier, expedited, same-day, next-day, and last-mile services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with courier providers.
• Establish service expectations, performance standards, and governance across the network.
• Evaluate use of national, regional, and local couriers based on cost and coverage.
• Support operations in resolving delivery, billing, service, and performance issues.
• Develop visibility into transportation spend across providers and locations.
• Monitor metrics like cost per package, service level, and spend by provider.
• Identify cost drivers and savings opportunities.
