Job summary

Shield AI is a defense-tech company seeking an experienced Staff Product Support to lead logistics planning and sustainment across development, flight test, production, and field support for a next-generation autonomous aircraft system.

The role emphasizes maintenance planning, provisioning, reliability techniques, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, program management, and suppliers to ensure mission availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent defense logistics experience required.
• 8+ years supporting UAS or fighter aircraft logistics and sustainment.
• Experience with maintenance planning data and LORA development.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics and sustainment planning for a UAS program across design, production, deployment, and field support.
• Develop and maintain integrated logistics support products including maintenance concepts and provisioning inputs.
• Perform Maintenance Task Analysis to define maintenance requirements, tools, labor hours, and repair levels.
• Develop Logistics Control Number structures to support provisioning and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, program management, manufacturing, and field teams to integrate logistics in design.
• Support Reliability and Maintainability activities and availability improvements.
• Lead supply support activities including spares analysis, inventory planning, and obsolescence management.
• Coordinate with suppliers, depots, and internal teams to ensure timely parts availability.
• Contribute to proposal development, basis of estimate, and sustainment strategies for UAS programs.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with defense standards, export controls, and company processes.
