Shield AI seeks a Staff Logistics Manager, Support Equipment to lead logistics planning, sustainment analysis, and lifecycle support for a next‑gen autonomous aircraft program. The role spans development, flight test, production, and field sustainment with a focus on maintenance planning, provisioning, and supply chain execution.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in UAS logistics, hands‑on analysis, and experience with MIL-STD standards and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, engineering, supply chain, aviation maintenance, business or related field; equivalent military or defense logistics experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years of experience supporting UAS or fighter aircraft logistics and sustainment.
• Experience with Maintenance Task Analysis and maintenance planning data.
• Expertise with Logistics Control Number structures for provisioning, maintenance planning, and supportability analysis.
• Experience with Reliability and Maintainability, failure modes, availability metrics, and LORA development.
• Hands-on supply support experience including spares planning, provisioning, inventory management, and sustainment execution.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, configuration data, and maintenance data.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, program management, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, field service, and customer teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills to lead logistics in a fast-paced program environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics and sustainment planning for a UAS program across design to field support phases.
• Develop, manage, and maintain integrated logistics support products, including maintenance concepts and provisioning inputs.
• Perform and manage Maintenance Task Analysis to define maintenance requirements and task details.
• Develop and maintain Logistics Control Number structures supporting provisioning and documentation.
• Lead support equipment design, development, and implementation across IPTs.
• Lead supply support activities including spares planning, inventory management, and obsolescence management.
• Coordinate with suppliers, depots, repair vendors, and internal teams to ensure parts availability.
• Support proposal development, basis of estimate inputs, staffing plans, and logistics cost estimates.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with defense standards, export control, and company processes.
