Job summary

JFCS Pittsburgh is seeking a Manager of Individual Giving & Development Operations to strengthen the organization’s annual fundraising program, donor stewardship infrastructure, and giving strategy. The role bridges fundraising operations, strategy, and frontline donor engagement to support sustainable growth.

The position leads development initiatives, analyzes donor trends, and collaborates with executive leadership to advance major gift pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business administration, nonprofit management, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of fundraising and annual fund experience.
• Knowledge of fundraising techniques including moves management, direct mail, and online giving.
• Experience with fundraising CRMs and donor management systems.
• Experience managing donor portfolios and cultivating relationships.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities; capable of multi-phase projects.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to travel independently to meet prospects and donors.

Responsibilities

• Lead goal setting and strategy for individual giving solicitations.
• Develop annual work plan and solicitation timeline.
• Design donor engagement programs to grow giving.
• Manage multi-channel fundraising activities to meet financial goals.
• Oversee annual fund program and donor acquisition/retention.
• Build donor stewardship plans and moves management dashboards.
• Collaborate with leadership on major gift pipelines.
• Supervise staff and ensure data integrity in donor systems.
• Prepare regular fundraising progress reports.
