Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a strategic senior leader to act as a chief business liaison for the WWPS Global GSI Partners team. This role steers global strategies, owns communications, measurement, and reporting of organizational goals, and partners across functions to drive public sector sales initiatives.

The Senior Business Manager will mentor teams, drive initiatives, and build dashboards to monitor performance while shaping global partnerships and operational excellence within AWS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience.
• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
• Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field.
• Knowledge of general AI tools.
• Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions.

Responsibilities

• Driving functional teams to determine best practices on key business and technical areas.
• Ensuring best practices are shared appropriately.
• Authoring narratives to define and execute organizational strategy.
• Creating and deploying mechanisms to improve efficiency across the organization.
• Taking a leadership role for critical projects that span the entire organization.
• Building/managing sales dashboards and scorecards to drive optimal performance across the team.
