Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Sr. Mgr, EAP to align cross-organizational environmental compliance, develop multi-year plans, and drive accountability across VP-level stakeholders.

The role requires deep regulatory expertise, strategic leadership, and the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable processes and metrics. Excellent communication with legal, operations, and technology teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of risk management, audit, legal, compliance or related field work with external stakeholders
• 7+ years of team management with 5+ direct reports
• Experience with program management spanning planning, execution and delivery
• Experience communicating to executive-level stakeholders
• Experience working with and managing third-party vendors
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Experience holding stakeholders accountable to program milestones through structured controllership and governance

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain cross-organizational alignment on a unified environmental compliance vision across in-scope units
• Own the strategic program roadmap, including media-specific compliance programs and field execution frameworks
• Develop and govern multi-year operating plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
• Build and operate controllership mechanisms to drive speed, quality, and accountability
• Communicate strategy, status, and risks clearly to Director and VP-level audiences
• Partner with legal, regulators, consultants, and tech teams to resolve barriers and accelerate solutions
• Define and govern KPI and compliance metrics with real-time visibility across units
• Lead talent management, including hiring, onboarding, and development planning
• Oversee work by contractors and vendors with governance mechanisms
• Operate autonomously in a high-ambiguity regulatory environment to deliver outcomes
• Embed compliance objectives into day-to-day operations
