Amazon’s Worldwide Environmental Assurance and Protection (EAP) team seeks a Sr. Manager to establish and maintain a unified environmental compliance vision across all business units.

You will develop multi-year plans, oversee budgets, and drive accountability through structured governance and KPI frameworks. You will collaborate with Legal, regulators, and technology teams, communicating strategic goals to VP-level audiences while embedding compliance into day-to-day operations and risk

Formación

• 10+ years of risk management, audit, legal, compliance or related field work with external stakeholders experience.
• 7+ years of team management with 5+ direct reports.
• Experience with program management spanning planning, execution and project delivery.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
• Experience working with and managing third party vendors.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Establish cross-organizational alignment on a unified environmental compliance vision across all in-scope units.
• Own the strategic program roadmap, including media specific compliance programs and field execution frameworks.
• Develop multi-year operating plans, program budgets, and resource allocation strategies balancing immediate obligations with long-term investments.
• Build and operate program controllership mechanisms to drive speed, quality, and accountability across stakeholders.
• Communicate compliance strategy and status to Director and VP-level audiences across Operations, Legal, Finance, and Technology.
• Partner with Legal, regulators, environmental consultants, and technology teams to resolve barriers and accelerate engineered solutions.
• Define, implement, and govern KPI and compliance metric frameworks for real-time visibility across units.
• Lead talent management lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, and development planning.
• Oversee work by third-party contractors and vendors with audit and governance.
• Work autonomously in a high-ambiguity regulatory environment to deliver compliance at scale.
• Embed environmental compliance objectives into day-to-day operations.
