Job summary
Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to act as SME for data flows, architecture, and data storage within a cloud-based data warehouse. You will guide data ingest, lifecycle management, and migration of legacy data to modern architectures, ensuring continuity and compliance.
The role involves leading Agile teams as a Team Lead and Scrum Master, mentoring junior engineers, and providing technical direction across integration, testing, and risk management.
Qualifications
- Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for data flows, architecture, and storage in a cloud-based data warehouse.
- Lead data ingestion, storage, lifecycle management and compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and act as Scrum Master in Agile environments.
- Provide technical leadership across system integration, testing, and risk management.
