Job summary

Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is seeking an Associate Director of Philanthropy, Annual and Membership Giving in Baton Rouge. You will lead multi-channel annual giving campaigns, manage giving circles, and drive donor stewardship while coordinating with Communications, Marketing, and leadership teams to align with the organization’s donor-engagement strategy.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of annual fund or donor program experience, with a preference for event management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of annual fund, direct response, or donor program experience.
• Event or volunteer management experience preferred.
• Familiarity with giving circles or membership programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute multi-channel annual giving campaigns from production through analysis, including first-time donor engagement.
• Manage the Investor Collective and Echo Alliance giving circles and support community champions.
• Deliver mid-level donor stewardship and salon event strategy.
• Serve as project liaison to Communications and Marketing and partner with Donor Services on segmentation.
• Liaise between the Chief Philanthropy Officer and Administrative Coordinator/Board Liaison for the Regional Advisory Council.
