Job summary

MSD in the United States seeks an Associate Director, US Launch Excellence to act as a strategic partner for the Immunology pipeline, focusing on IBD launches. You will connect strategy to integrated plans with clear milestones, dependencies and ownership across marketing and global partners.

You will orchestrate readiness, monitor critical paths, and use dashboards and KPIs to surface gaps and guide decisions. Travel and hybrid work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, General Management, Biotechnology or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in pharma/biotech consulting or related launch work.
• Ability to translate strategy into executable plans and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong program and project management with multiple priorities and interdependencies.
• Influence without direct authority and clear senior-stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated launch planning and readiness.
• Translate brand and go-to-market strategy into integrated launch plans with milestones and ownership.
• Orchestrate readiness across core and extended launch workstreams and monitor the critical path.
• Create dashboards and KPIs to assess readiness and surface gaps for decisions.
• Support pre-launch measurement, launch monitoring and post-launch hypercare; adjust as needed.
• Lead scenario planning and prioritization to focus on high-impact work.
• Engage with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Global teams to align inputs and handoffs.
