Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; in lieu of degree, 5+ years of relevant work experience accepted.
• State certification/license to operate a disposal site required as applicable.
• 5+ years of landfill management experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe landfill and ensure daily operations meet safety standards.
• Manage landfill operations in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Waste Pro policies.
• Ensure profitable, compliant operations with consistent productivity and cost controls.
• Oversee permitting and forecast potential issues; coordinate with environmental agencies as needed.
• Train and mentor staff on landfill operation and maintenance practices.
• Lead inspections and preventive maintenance to maintain site cleanliness and equipment readiness.
