Job summary

Waste Management is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day district or multi-site collection operations, establishing performance metrics and cost management processes. The role reports to Senior District Manager and/or Director of Disposal Operations and includes budget oversight.

Responsibilities include safety coaching, driver support, P&L reviews, contract negotiations, and interactions with city and county agencies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree is required.
• High School Diploma or GED with two years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day district operations and supports drivers to ensure safety, service, and cost savings.
• Ensures safety and compliance with WM, OSHA, and other standards and regulations.
• Conducts root-cause investigations for injuries/incidents and provides coaching and retraining.
