AWESOME LANDFILL MANAGER FOR A FAST GROWING COMPANY

The Waste Pro Landfill Manager will have oversite of a landfill and ensure that daily site procedures are following safety, environmental and equipment maintenance policies. The Landfill Manager will develop strategies to ensure the landfill is operating efficiently to maintain compliance and profitability.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain safe a safe landfill.
• Manage landfill in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and Waste Pro policies.
• Ensure consistent, compliant and profitable operations.
• Monitor productivity and cost controls
• Maintain ongoing oversite of all permitting and forecast potential issues
• Meet with officials from environmental agencies, state and federal officials regarding operations
• Train and mentor staff on issues regarding the operation of a landfill.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the Waste Pro landfill through inspections, training and preventive maintenance programs with managers and employees.

Education/Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of relevant work experience.
• State certification/ license to operate a disposal site will be needed as required
• Experience: 5 or more years managing landfills
• Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills
• Excellent Attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and set priorities with effective distribution of time and effort.
