Job summary

Spicer Group is seeking a Land Development Director to lead our land development, redevelopment, urban planning, and economic development projects from concept to completion. You will drive strategic planning, budget discipline, and client satisfaction while mentoring a high-performing team.

You will partner with executive leadership to grow the service area, oversee project execution, and advance the firm’s market presence across GA, OH, and MI. Strong licensure and leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, urban planning, architecture, public administration, business, real estate development, or related
• 10+ years of experience in land development, urban planning, or equivalent
• Licensure/certification such as PE, AICP, PLA, LEED AP preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead land development, redevelopment, urban planning, and economic development projects from concept to completion.
• Manage service line financial performance including budgeting, invoicing, and profitability.
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans for the Land Development service area.
• Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary team.
• Drive client development and marketing efforts; represent the company publicly.
