Job summary

Spicer Group, a multi-disciplinary engineering, surveying, and planning firm, seeks a Land Development Director to lead the growing Land Development service area and deliver transformational urban projects. You will align with executives, mentor a high-performing team, and drive growth through strategic initiatives and strong client relationships.

You will oversee project excellence, budget control, and on-time delivery while championing innovation, collaboration, and a client-focused culture

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects with public and private clients.
• Strong knowledge of land development, zoning, site planning, infrastructure coordination, and permitting.
• Executive-level leadership and effective public speaking at meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of land development, redevelopment, urban planning, and economic development projects from concept to completion.
• Provide strategic oversight for planning, staffing, risk management, and regulatory coordination across the service area.
• Drive business development, client relationships, and marketing initiatives to grow the service area.
