Job summary

Spicer Group is seeking an ambitious Land Development Director to lead our expanding Land Development practice across our Ohio footprint. This executive role shapes urban planning, redevelopment, and economic development initiatives, guiding project delivery from concept through completion while aligning with our strategic vision.

You will mentor a high-performing team, manage budgets and risk, build client and partner relationships, and drive growth through market insights and marketing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in land development, urban planning, redevelopment, or related professional services.
• Professional licensure or certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of land development and redevelopment projects from concept through completion.
• Provide strategic oversight for planning, staffing, risk management, and regulatory coordination.
• Manage service line financial performance including budgeting, revenue growth, and profitability.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team and develop client relationships.
• Drive business development and marketing efforts for the Land Development service area.
