Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Land Coordinator in Louisville, KY to support the land development and acquisitions process within the Operations Department. The role focuses on timely task completion, budget oversight, and coordination with vendors and HOA entities to maintain project momentum.

The candidate will assist with permits, HUD approvals, and funding requests, while maintaining professional conduct and compliance. This position requires adaptability and travel when needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or two to three years of related experience.
• Experience with land development processes and budgets.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and HOA stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with land development, acquisitions and land/lot purchases.
• Run land reports and oversee file setup and maintenance.
• Coordinate HUD approvals and land acquisition contracts.
• Prepare funding requests and manage project budgets.
• Oversee permits, bonds, and HOA documents with attorneys as needed.
• Travel and overtime as required.
