Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Land Coordinator to support the Operations Department in land development, acquisitions and related activities. The role requires coordinating with internal teams, attorneys and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects and budgets.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree or equivalent and 2–3 years of related experience. The position offers opportunities within a Fortune 500 homebuilder with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or two to three years related experience.
Experience with land development, acquisitions and land/lot purchases is preferred.
Ability to manage budgets and coordinate with attorneys and vendors.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of land development, acquisitions and land/lot purchases.
Run various land reports and oversee file setup, distribution and maintenance.
Update development project schedules and coordinate HUD approvals.
Generate purchase orders for land acquisition and development work.
Submit weekly funding requests and land-related coding sheets.
Assist with land permit processing and track permit status.
Order bonds, letters of credit and support bond release paperwork.
Administer vendor contracts and respond to contract questions.
Act as point of contact for Homeowners Associations and HOA boards.
Coordinate with attorneys for HOA documents and disclosures.
Manage and update project budgets and assist with market studies.
Oversee monumentation, site elements and design themes.
Perform duties delegated by the manager and travel as needed.
