Job summary

K. Hovnanian Companies, LLC in Plano, TX is seeking a Land Acquisition Manager to source and evaluate land opportunities that support our homebuilding goals.

You will identify acquisitions through brokers, builders, bankers, landowners, engineers, planners, and municipal officials, presenting deals to senior leaders and helping shape growth strategy for our communities. A strong negotiator with financial and market analysis skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' related experience in Land Acquisition.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to prepare, interpret and present various financial analyses, as well as statistical market analyses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication skills are necessary.
• Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Identify land acquisition opportunities through brokers, builders, bankers, landowners, engineers, planners, attorneys, municipal officials, and in-house contacts.
• Present land deals to senior leaders and directly contribute to the company’s growth.
• Support the growth of the company's land bank by evaluating site potential and financial viability.
