Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business, Finance, Real Estate or a related field.
• 3+ years land acquisition experience, preferably in residential homebuilding.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial modelling is required.
• Experience in land acquisition/dispositions and development analysis.
• Understanding of planning policies across local market municipalities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Vice President of Land with sourcing new land acquisition opportunities.
• Analyze potential land acquisitions and due diligence inspection materials.
• Develop and analyze land proformas and homebuilding proformas with Excel.
• Coordinate due diligence with consultants and stakeholders.
• Develop land plans, scheduling, budgeting, and cash flows with project leadership.
• Promote project and community vision and design.
• Participate in housing product development and translate into land planning.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, brokers, and government authorities.
• Provide land acquisition reports to Corporate Office and manage dispositions.
• Analyze asset management strategies to optimize land holdings.
