Mattamy Homes in Dallas, TX is seeking a Land Acquisition professional for full-time, onsite collaboration with senior leaders. You will source opportunities, analyze acquisitions, and develop land proformas with strong Excel and financial modelling skills.

Ideal candidates have a 3+ year track record in land acquisition, familiarity with market analysis tools like Metro Study, and the ability to manage budgeting, cash flows, and due diligence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business, Finance, Real Estate or a related field
• 3+ years land acquisition experience, preferably in residential homebuilding
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial modelling is required
• Experience with land acquisition/dispositions and development analysis, preferably in single-family context and local marketplace

Responsibilities

• Assist Vice President of Land with sourcing new land acquisition opportunities
• Analyze potential land acquisitions and due diligence inspection materials
• Develop and analyze land proformas and homebuilding proformas (Excel proficiency)
• Perform due diligence coordination with consultants
• Develop land plans, project scheduling, budgeting, and cash flows with Project Manager/Land Development Manager
• Promote project and community vision and design
• Participate in housing product development and translate into land planning
• Maintain relationships with vendors, brokers, and government authorities
• Manage land acquisition reports and provide to Corporate Office
• Manage land dispositions and asset dispositions
• Analyze asset management strategies to optimize the asset
