You will manage union relationships, employee relations matters, and grievances while advising leadership to ensure compliance with labor laws and negotiated agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or Labor Relations, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in labor or employee relations in a union environment, or a master’s degree in HR/Labor Relations.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with executive presence.
• Demonstrated expertise in cross-functional alignment and conflict resolution.
• Multi-state experience and knowledge of employment law.
• Disciplined, organized, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects.

Responsabilités

• Partner with the Sr. Director to execute strategic HR, labor, and employee relations initiatives.
• Provide guidance on contract administration, labor relations, and interpretation of CBAs.
• Serve as primary contact for grievances; track trends, resolutions, and response timelines.
• Advise and support management on grievance procedures, discipline, and just-cause standards.
• Support collective bargaining preparation and negotiations, including drafting proposals and costings.
• Prepare case files, evidence, and witness materials for arbitrations and third-party proceedings.
• Ensure negotiated terms are implemented accurately with payroll, benefits, and operations.
• Develop and deliver training for managers on contract compliance and labor relations.
• Analyze wage and benefit data to recommend compensation adjustments.
