Job summary

Fresno State is seeking a Labor & Employee Relations Manager who will oversee employee and labor relations, contract administration, and investigations for a large university. You will advise managers, resolve grievances, and implement programs to support fair, inclusive work environments.

Under HR leadership, you will apply knowledge of employment laws and CBAs, coach staff, and partner with campus and systemwide stakeholders to foster trust and effective workplace outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or closely related field.
• At least five years of progressively responsible human resources experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a collective bargaining environment.
• Demonstrated experience with effective conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Administers employee and labor relations for the University.
• Oversees labor contract administration and grievance processing.
• Leads investigations and develops programs to support managers.
• Collaborates with campus and systemwide stakeholders to foster a fair workplace.
