Job summary

Danaher is seeking a Labor and Employee Relations Manager to provide guidance and support on employee relations across the organization, partnering with HR, leaders, and COE teams. The role involves handling diverse caseloads, ensuring compliant and consistent application of policies, and coordinating with works councils and employee bodies.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or JD, 10+ years in labor and employee relations, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, JD, or equivalent in a related field.
• Extensive experience in labor and employee relations and HR partnering.
• Experience with investigations, performance management, disciplinary matters, and workforce reductions.
• Experience with unionized environments and employee representative bodies.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Guide employee relations matters with HR and business leaders.
• Manage employee relations cases including investigations and workforce changes.
• Lead performance improvement processes, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
• Develop and maintain employee relations policies, tools, and standard work.
• Collaborate with global COE and compliance teams on LER matters.
