Job summary

CGS is seeking a Knowledge Manager (KM) – SME to support mission-critical operations for a federal client in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes developing and maintaining knowledge management systems, documentation, and collaboration tools within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will hold Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance, serve as SME with leadership, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and compliance in administrative and logistics

Qualifications

Develop and maintain KM systems, repositories, and collaboration tools; ensure information is documented, accessible, retained.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Analyze operational challenges and recommend improvements.
Develop documentation, reports, and deliverables supporting mission objectives.
Support continuous improvement, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and optimization of knowledge management processes and systems.
Coordinate with stakeholders to capture and organize critical information.
Produce documentation, dashboards and reports for mission objectives.
Identify gaps and drive improvements for efficiency and compliance.
Support audit readiness and continuous process improvement initiatives.
