Job summary

CGS is seeking a Knowledge Manager (KM) – SME to support mission-critical operations for a federal client in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes developing and maintaining knowledge management systems, documentation, and collaboration tools within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will hold Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance, serve as SME with leadership, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and compliance in administrative and logistics

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain KM systems, repositories, and collaboration tools; ensure information is documented, accessible, retained.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Analyze operational challenges and recommend improvements.
• Develop documentation, reports, and deliverables supporting mission objectives.
• Support continuous improvement, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimization of knowledge management processes and systems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to capture and organize critical information.
• Produce documentation, dashboards and reports for mission objectives.
• Identify gaps and drive improvements for efficiency and compliance.
• Support audit readiness and continuous process improvement initiatives.
