DHL Global Forwarding in Newark, NJ seeks an Operational Key Account Manager to lead regional customer relationships, drive performance improvements, and manage commercial activities including RFP/RFQ processes. You will coordinate with the global account team to deliver on contractual and financial requirements.

You will oversee daily execution, monitor KPIs, and implement best practices while engaging cross-functional teams to maximize customer satisfaction and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years in customer-facing product experience with operational tools and reporting systems.
• Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders.
• Understanding of DHL operations and service delivery processes.
• Strong analytical skills for KPI and performance analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; PowerBI a plus.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, especially Ocean Freight.

Responsabilidades

• Primary external and internal contact for key customers with clear, effective communications.
• Understand customer service commitments and ensure documentation and delivery against them.
• Monitor performance and determine necessary actions for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement in customer experience and service efficiency.
• Serve as escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage projects and ensure delivery of customer integrations and improvements.
• Conduct and support customer business reviews.
• Maintain documentation: SOPs, SLAs, and performance records.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and performance across operations.
• Analyze shipping profiles for volumes and profitability and coordinate resources.
