Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Newark, New Jersey is seeking an Operational Key Account Manager to lead regional key customer relationships, coordinate across networks, and ensure service and financial commitments are met.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage RFP/RFQ activities from rate gathering to submission, and lead business reviews, always applying operational excellence to optimize performance and customer value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
5+ years in customer facing product experience with advanced knowledge of operational tools and reporting systems.
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
Fluent in English (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

Primary external and internal contact for key customers and stakeholders; communicate clearly and effectively.
Understand and document customer service commitments and ensure delivery against them.
Manage performance reviews and identify actions to improve service levels.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and process efficiency.
Oversee project delivery including customer integrations and onboarding.
Coordinate documentation: SOPs, SLAs, and performance records.
