Job summary

EPE USA in Hayward, CA is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager – Protective Packaging to grow strategic customer relationships and drive profitable account growth. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership to tailor packaging solutions and lead meetings that showcase value and long-term partnerships.

The role requires 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role, a related degree, and strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, packaging, supply chain, manufacturing, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in key account management or related role.
• Experience in packaging, engineering, manufacturing environments preferred.
• Knowledge of corrugated, folding carton, flexible, protective, or rigid packaging solutions.
• Strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with assigned strategic and key accounts.
• Build strong relationships with customer contacts across sales, engineering, operations, supply chain, and leadership.
• Develop deep understanding of each customer’s business, products, packaging requirements, and future needs.
• Create and execute account strategies focused on retention and profitable growth.
• Partner with engineering and operations to develop customized packaging solutions.
• Lead customer meetings, presentations, and periodic business reviews.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and address service, quality, or delivery concerns.
• Maintain awareness of market trends and competitor activity for assigned accounts.
• Support new product launches from opportunity through production.
• Serve as the voice of the customer within the company.
